Engineering Success @ Macquarie
Macquarie University - The birthplace of wireless technology in Australia
During the 1990s collaborative research between Macquarie University and CSIRO led to the construction of the world's first high performance wireless local area network (LAN).
This led to the establishment of a start- up company, Radiata Communications which was later bought by Cisco for AUD$567million.
