Access Engineering (Macquarie)
Want to study Engineering @ Macquarie but not sure if you will get the UAI required?
Access Engineering is open to local HSC and TAFE students who are interested in studying Engineering at Macquarie University. It offers potential Engineering students who do not meet the UAI cut-off the opportunity for entry on the basis of other criteria. Students who expect to achieve a UAI within 5 points of the published entry cut-offs may apply for consideration via this scheme.
NOTE: This is not an alternative to UAC applications - any local students wishing to enter Engineering at Macquarie must also apply through UAC.
What Access Engineering takes into consideration:
- Results in key subjects such as mathematics and physics
- HSC and/or TAFE results
- Vacation work or other practical experience
- Your motivation and commitment
To be considered for entry under this scheme, you must:
- Apply for Engineering at Macquarie through UAC; and
- Submit an online application to the Department of Electronic Engineering at Macquarie University via this website
Note: The Access Engineering pathway does not apply to double degree programs or international students.
